I just wanted to share this trailer with you…
I think our nation NEEDS this!
Sometimes we have to go back before we can go forward.
So let us remember where we came from and why.

Next on the organization list is the bathroom..
Cabinets and sink tops can start to get messy quick, so these tips are super helpful for keeping this space spic and span.
1. Order – Try to have some sort of order to where and why you put things in certain spaces. Keep things that are used daily most convenient and other things stored away to keep surfaces from being cluttered.
2. Add storage – A common problem for most is simply not enough storage. Adding open shelving for pretty jars and dishes, baskets for towels, trays for toiletries, and even small cabinets for linens, etc. can help while adding pretty touches to the room. Just remember to keep it simple and clean!
3. Organize drawers – For some reason under the sink and drawers in the bathroom are a deep cavern of mess for me! Things magically collect there and seem to hang out forever
So, head to TJ Maxx (they have really cute drawer organizers) or wherever and invest in a few space and sanity savers. You won’t be sorry!
4. Purge - As stated above, lotions, hair accessories, nail polish, etc. seem to cling to the storage spaces of our bathrooms, so PURGE people! Make it a habit to go through your drawers and cabinets at least once a month and throw away what has expired and what you know you won’t be using again! Amazing how this clears up so much space – and time if you’re like me and have to dig through everything to find what I’m looking for..
Hope these tips help!
Happy Organizing ~

Just the verse I needed this week!
Sometimes I let fears get the best of me..
I am so thankful for a God who is always there, always waiting to help and hold, calming fears and giving peace.
I am starting this new week with this verse in my heart!

Gotta leave in a few to get my little fella from school, so while my crazy almost 1 year old Addi is napping I thought I’d give you a little update on what’s been happening here at Life Together..
hmm..
chirp. chirp.
Well, I honestly can’t think of anything exciting that’s happening right now.
Do you ever go through seasons of life like that where everything is sort of just.. normal.. and you feel kind of bored with it all?
Maybe it’s just winter/cold weather/ I need more sunshine blahs – who knows.
Anyway, little Addi will be 1 (I KNOW!!) next month so she is keeping me hopping for sure. Jack is loving school and seems to be in a better groove this semester.
He is taking ka-rah-tay too so be ware!
I am loving our new Bible study I attend on Wednesday mornings – we are doing a Precept study on Abraham (if you’ve never done a Precept study.. OH MY!.. you are missing out on a great blessing my friend!). It is so encouraging to see that God can use anyone to accomplish His will, even thru the mess that we/Abraham may make of things along the way
I’ve been trying to get all crafty again when I have time, which is around never, so I haven’t gotten very far yet.
I do have a little project going I will share with you soon that I hope turns out as cute as I’m thinking!
And I have a list for a few DIY furniture adventures in the near future so don’t give up!
I will accomplish something soon..
Well, I guess I better go tame this hair and get the little rascal up – hope you have a loverly afternoon!

The Bedroom – a haven of rest and calm. Right? It can be! Instead of crazy piles of toys in the kids’ rooms or laundry in the corners of yours, it can be a space of rest and relaxation! Here are some great tips for ways to make a bedroom neat, tidy, and peaceful:
1. Go Vertical - smaller spaces are always in need of a little illusion to make it appear bigger.. the best trick is to use something to draw the eye up. Whether it’s art, a piece of furniture, shelving with simple accessories.. anything that will make the room appear taller. Plus, with extra storage you can get things off the floors allowing for more clean space.
2. Containers - if you are limited on space and things seem to be piling up, use decorative containers to hide the “mess” and make things look clean, but pretty. Canvas baskets or wooden crates are great for kids rooms.
3. Utilize all space – Every nook and cranny can be used! Use a parson’s table as a night stand/desk, add a bench or chest to the foot of the bed for linen or book storage, find a small armoire for the TV that has drawers for movies, sweaters, etc. Be creative! Slide storage containers with toys or books under the kiddos beds.. out of sight, out of mind
4. Declutter – Try not to leave shoes laying around, clothes or jackets slung on chairs, books stacked on surfaces.. These seem like small things, but the room will look fresh and more spacious without clutter.

Every week at the close of our morning service, our Pastor has us say this together:
God is Good
All the Time
ALL the Time
God is Good
Why?
Because that’s His nature
Whoo!!!
(Yes, we all say the “whoo!”)
I heart Pastor Wayne..
Anyway, it’s sort of his “watchword” to us so to speak as we go out into the world another week - and I often need to remember that God IS good all the time.. even when things are crazy, not going as planned, hard, trying, stressful, whatever the case.
He is still GOOD.
So, this week repeat that to yourself when you feel the weight of the world pressing down.
Simple phrase, super encouraging!
